As part of the museums look at the contribution of Columbia County to the Civil War, they are hosting Civil War Paintings of Addy: Dahl Taylor's Original Illustrations for American Girl. The exhibit is hung at the recently restored Vanderpoel House in Kinderhook, New York.
The exhibit runs until December 22nd and is a wonderful way to amuse young holiday house guests for an afternoon. For more information please check out the Columbia County Historical Society website Columbia County Historical Society.
