The summer party that I always find myself counting the days to is without a doubt, the First Columbians cocktail party. The annual event is the Columbia County Historical Society’s big fund raiser and always draws a fascinating group of guests. This year the event is being held on the grounds of artist Lois Dickson’s home in Chatham, New York and Ellsworth Kelly is the distinguished guest of honor. To make the night really easy and take the bother out of what to do for dinner after the cocktail party, the purchase of a dinner ticket assigns you to a dinner hosted in a private home. Check out CCHSNY.org for more details.
Sounds like a wonderful evening! You've got to love a great cocktail party, and one that benefits a great organization!
What fun, your blog. I'm happy to be able to catch up on what you are up to!
