Who hasn’t seen a worn out piece of furniture and thought it
would be great if only it were redone? Molly Worth and her partner Tracy
Jenkins have based their business, Chairloom, on the idea of second chances. They refurbish
old furniture with chic modern fabrics giving the frames a new lease on life.
They work with an assortment of boutique fabric companies, like mine, to help
them achieve their look. The company is located in Narberth Pennsylvania and
they have developed a large following of like minded clients who believe in
renewing to reuse.
It wasn’t until recently that I realized how many of my
fabrics they have used in their projects. Their Facebook page is full of many
more examples of the miracles they work.
Amazing what changing the finish and a little Venice fabric can do for a pair of chairs.
Garden Folly Chocolate gave a new look to a traditional
loveseat.
Maybe my favorite, a pair of provincial wingbacks in Petite Fleur Chocolate.
Check out their website for a wealth of
inspirational images of their many successful projects and for contact information.

Looking fab! I especially like the Venice fabric!
don't you love the 'before and afters'
in regards to upholstered pieces?
;)
The Venice does look smart. Love it in the red with the caning of the chars.
I am a huge fan of Molly and Tracy and sing their praises every opportunity I get. I love their second chances attitude toward furniture and their incredibly keen eye for great pieces. And yes, the pieces reupholstered with your fabrics are simply DEVINE! Thanks for the post!
