The molto bella New York apartment of designer and Italian aficionado Matthew White and his partner Thomas Schumacher was the setting for cocktail party honoring Suzy Slesin Tuesday night. Suzy who is Matthews publisher for his first book “Italy of my Dreams” is also well known in the design world as the former editor in chief of O home, designer editor of House & Garden and the New York Times. A few of the soignée friends on hand to toast her were Suzy’s husband Michael Steinberg, Frank Webb, Miguel Flores Viana, Dennis Miller, Maureen Footer, Sabine Rothman and Amy Breedlove.
