Two Great Design Books

I just spent the weekend pouring over two new design books Suzanne Kasler Inspired Interiors and Flowers for the Home. They are both wonderfully inspirational and the photography is dreamy.

Kasler’s book is the perfect balance between high design and livable design, a quality that is often elusive in design books. Her palette is pure artistry as is her eye for scale and proportion.

Flowers for the Home is by the master florist Grayson Handy of Prudence Designs. The arrangements and concepts featured are so exhilarating that it had me reaching for the garden catalogs to start planning next years garden. I can already see that this book is going to be indispensable.

Both books are published by Rizzoli New York.

Prudence Design is just down the street from my shop, so I'm the luckiest girl in town......the best bouquets for gifts, or just to cheer yourself up.......tabletop, and decor, of course, but the arrangements!
sigh........now, I have to go get some flowers, just because the review made me do it!
